¡ Hello Friends ! We are delighted you have found and visited this website. All visitors interested in learning more about Honduras and/or who want to share ideas, information, energy, time, etc. on this forum, are warmly welcomed.
Let us start by congratulating you for being part of a privileged group of human beings that can read and write, has access to electricity and a computer, and has the ability, patience, and time to surf through the internet !!!
Conscientious of our own good fortune and motivated by other country-fellowmen that have developed e-networks for the exchange of information and/or coordination of activities aimed at improving the living standard of Hondurans, we decided to do our share by establishing this communications bridge between Europeans and Hondurans.
Those who have traveled and/or lived in Europe are aware that Honduras is one of the least known Latin American countries in the “old continent”. Hence, through this website we want to bring you closer to the country and its people by providing you information and access to several other links in an easy-to-find manner - including connections to other Latin American sites based in Europe.
Furthermore, Hondurans that travel or migrate to Europe find, or better said, do not find other country-fellows or local people (aside from our consulates and embassies officers) who could share a few tips about the place(s) they are about to visit or move to. We hope this page will help us find fellows willing to offer an “advising hand” overseas (be it in Europe or Honduras).
We also extend an invitation to the different diplomatic offices, or members of multi-cultural or bi-national institutions or associations, to use this portal as a way to keep us informed about the various activities to take place in Honduras or Europe for building closer relationships (i.e. cultural, commercial, etc) among us.
We are also trying to identify and introduce every government or non-governmental institution, volunteer organizations, and individuals that support Honduras’ development, and/or foster cross-cultural understanding and exchange of experiences. Finally, we look forward to a steady increase in traditional and social tourism into Honduras.
This website is dedicated to all those people that sustain (or would like to foster) positive connections between Honduras and Europe.
Thanks for your attention and do stay in touch.
